NDC Cocaine Kingpin Busted

A recent seizure of a large cocaine shipment on the Takoradi-Cape Coast highway has sparked concerns over potential political interference in the investigation.

The National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) intercepted a Hogvan truck carrying approximately 120 slabs of cocaine, valued at $150 million.

During questioning, the driver allegedly implicated a certain Charles Hagan, a former National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, as the owner of the illicit cargo.

Hagan, also known as “Panya,” was reportedly taken into custody but later released, fueling speculation about political influence.

Sources close to the investigation claim that Charles Kippo, the NIB director, has been in communication with the presidency, raising concerns that the probe may be compromised.

The involvement of high-ranking officials has sparked fears that the investigation may be swept under the carpet.
