Duncan-Williams Blasts Presidential Aid

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Founder of Action Chapel International, has launched a scathing critique of a former presidential aide, whose name was not mentioned, by accusing the individual of wielding excessive influence and undermining the authority of the president.

Speaking at a special fellowship with the clergy on Friday, February 28, 2025, Duncan-Williams emphasized the importance of humility and gratitude in leadership, while cautioning against the abuse of power.

Duncan-Williams reflected on past administrations, recalling a former presidential aide who wielded excessive influence, undermining the authority of the president.

“I pray that in your term as president, you will be the only president that Ghana knows. That there will be no other hidden power controlling things behind the scenes,” he said, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability in governance.

The Archbishop also warned Mahama’s associates and ministers against using their positions for personal vendettas.

“Do not use this victory to settle scores with anyone. When power is entrusted to you for the benefit of the people, do not use it to prove a point. There are serious implications for that,” he stated, citing Hebrews 6:10.

Furthermore, Duncan-Williams reminded Mahama that his rise to leadership was not by accident but by divine mercy.

“Your father was not a President, your grandfather was not a President, yet God has made you one. You have broken a generational cycle; you are a curse-breaker,” he stated.

Duncan-Williams called on all government officials and ministers to reflect on how history will remember them.

He urged them to serve with integrity, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the people of Ghana.
