Girlfriend Of Suspected Killer Of Late Kotoko Fan Pooley Arrested

In a significant development in the investigation into the murder of Nana Pooley, the Ghana Police Service has arrested Grace Siaw, the girlfriend of Daniel Febiri, also known as Brimah, the prime suspect in the case.

Brimah, who is believed to have fled the country after the incident, is accused of fatally stabbing Pooley, a dedicated Asante Kotoko fan, during a match between Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC a couple of weeks ago.

According to Asante Kotoko, Siaw concealed Brimah between February 4th and 17th and assisted him in escaping to Senegal through Côte d’Ivoire.

She was brought to court on February 25th and remanded, with her next court appearance scheduled for Monday.

The police are still searching for Brimah, and the arrest of his girlfriend is seen as a significant breakthrough in the case.

Pooley’s tragic passing sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian football community, with many paying tribute to his dedication and passion for the sport.

His funeral is scheduled to take place on March 6th, according to Alex Manu, Chairman of Asante Kotoko Circles.

The Ghana Police Service has been working tirelessly to bring those responsible for Pooley’s murder to justice, and the arrest of Siaw is a significant step forward in the investigation.

The police are urging anyone with information about Brimah’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the investigation.
