MTN Ghana has confirmed that approximately 5,700 customers may have been affected by a recent security breach.

– Place a fraud alert on their credit report
– Keep MTN, MoMo, and banking apps and devices updated
– Use strong, unique passwords for accounts and change them regularly
– Be cautious of unexpected messages and avoid clicking on suspicious links
– Refrain from disclosing sensitive information such as passwords, PINs, and OTPs when asked to do so by phone, text message, or email.
