The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a statement to address the recent misinformation circulating about the existence of a draft report from the 2024 Election Review Committee.
According to the statement, the committee has not yet produced a draft report, contrary to claims made by some sections of the media.
The NPP 2024 Election Review Committee was established to conduct a comprehensive review of the party’s performance in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The committee, chaired by Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, was tasked with engaging party stakeholders and the general public to gather insights and recommendations.
The committee’s secretary, William Yamoah, emphasized that the committee is still in the process of conducting consultations and gathering information.
He urged party members not to be misled by the notion that someone’s opinion has already been formed, assuring that the final report will capture and present all the concerns of party members to the National Council.
