In a bid to promote science and STEM education, Rainbow Trust Foundation, led by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nana Akosua Agyepomaa Asare, has donated assorted textbooks and educational materials to the Abomosu STEM Senior High School Library in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region.
The donation, made possible through the Foundation’s partnership with Book Aid International, UK, aims to enhance the school’s resources and support the intellectual development of its students.
The donation ceremony, which took place at the school premises on Thursday, April 3, 2025, was attended by distinguished guests, including Nana Kofi Ayim, Akwansrahene of Abomosu; Nana Osei, Pomasehene Kyeame; Baafour Ayim, Pomaase Kontihene; Rev. Ayim, and Robert Amoako. Nana Akosua Agyepomaa, who is also the Nkosuohemaa (Development Queen) of Oseawuo Division of the Akyem Abuakwa State, presented the materials to the school authorities.
According to Nana Akosua Agyepomaa Asare, the books were carefully selected to align with science and STEM education curricula.
She encouraged the students to “embrace these new resources with enthusiasm and curiosity.”
Nana Akosua Agyepomaa also pledged continued support, promising additional educational materials to further enhance the school’s resources in the future.
The headmaster of Abomosu STEM Senior High School, Ebo Sey expressed gratitude for the generous contribution, acknowledging the donors’ investment in the intellectual development of young minds.
He offered valuable advice to the students, noting that “a book unread remains merely an object, but one that is read becomes part of who you are.”
The headmaster’s words emphasized the importance of reading and the impact that access to quality educational materials can have on students’ lives.
